The mission of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is to develop and disseminate globally applicable Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. It is an independent institution that embodies a multi-stakeholder process and ensures technical excellence in the advancement of sustainability reporting. BSI Entropy International joined the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in 2003 as an Organizational Stakeholder in order to support and work closely with the GRI. Organisational Stakeholders are a critical element in the GRI’s governance structure, electing the Stakeholder Council which, in turn, appoints the GRI Board of Directors. BSI Entropy joins a wide range of commercial, governmental and non-governmental organisations including Anglo American, Baxter International, BHP Billiton, Canon, CERES, Deutsche Bank, Ford Motor Company, Gaz de France, General Motors, SustainAbility, and The New Economics Foundation.
